Polk County Animal Control (Winter Haven, FL between Tampa and Orlando) has Bullies and Bully mixes AVAILABLE TO 501 C 3 RESCUES ONLY. We are posting this notice as a courtesy in the hopes that organizations that have room can pull these dogs and put them up for adoption through their systems. If you know of a rescue that can take any of these dogs, please pass this information to them.

The dogs come out of the shelter spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for rabies, bordatella and Pyrantel, heartworm tested with result, treated with Revolution and Frontline and dewormed. Total cost is $25. If this is a problem, Lisa can work with you on the fee.

Polk County Animal Control falls under the sheriff's umbrella and Lisa has been working with him to get Pit Bulls and the bully breeds a better deal. If you can take even one of these dogs, it is worth it. Lisa is willing to do whatever it takes to get these dogs out of there.
